Our mineral water served as inspiration for the name. Its unique composition and rich mineral content make it as precious as a pearl. Due to its origin from the Pannonian Sea, the names The Pearl of Pannonia and Panea were derived.

HOW WE STARTED
The Pearl of Pannonia’s pre-story started in 1995, when our family discovered a treasure – a source of rich natural mineral water – hidden at the bottom of the ancient Pannonian Sea (read more: Discovery of a pearl).
The balenological analysis of the water showed a big potential for its use in skincare. Its beneficial effects were confirmed by a tradition of use spanning three decades and phenomenal feedback of many people.
The next chapter of the story started in 2018, as an inner call to find a new way to share this treasure with the world. And as it often happens, when the heart’s desire turns into intention – an opportunity appears. Thus, shortly after shaping the idea, The Pearl of Pannonia company was founded, and the creation of natural cosmetic line Panea began.

The symbolism of the logo is twofold:
The pearl represents our mineral water, while the shell represents its origin – the Pannonian Sea.
In its deeper meaning, the pearl symbolizes the soul, and the shell our physical body (read more: Symbolism of a pearl).
OUR TEAM
Our team consists of three people – Karlo, Martina and Anastasiya. However, behind the curtains, many helpers are hiding. These are our families, friends, and business partners, who are a great support to us – both in small tasks and in important decisions.

Beauty plays an important role in our emotional well-being. We are convinced that even the smallest details in our surroundings impact us.
No matter what shape or form, beauty is the food for the soul. That’s why we design the packaging of our products to be one more source of beauty in your everyday life.
HEALTH
Everything we give to our body, be it through the food we eat or the skincare products we use, largely determines its health. Therefore, the quality and natural origin of the ingredients are our highest priority. By choosing the best for our body, we express love towards it.
Moreover, we believe that true health results from the harmony of body, mind and spirit. Only when we consistently develop these three aspects can we be truly healthy.
LIFE IN GOD
As many wise men have said: “Know thyself.” We believe that honest self-knowledge, when joined with prayer, humility, and a sincere desire for truth, can become the beginning of repentance and healing. By God’s grace, it may open the way to clarity, peace of heart, and a life more deeply rooted in communion with Him.
